Owned and operated by Garth and Leanne Tander, TanderSport is a team with plenty of experience. Between them, Garth and Leanne have been involved in the motor racing industry for over 30 years, despite being only 29 and 26 respectively.

TanderSport’s objectives are simple: to grow into the most successful motor sport team in the country.

In 2007, TanderSport finished second in the Australian Formula 3 Championship, narrowly missing out on the win by a mere 2 points. Along the way, the single-car team accumulated 4 pole positions, 2 race wins and 8 podium positions to make it one of the most successful teams in the series.

In 2008, TanderSport will for the first time run two cars in the Championship, with the possibility of expanding to three later in the season. TanderSport’s long-term plan includes a move into Australia’s most popular motor racing category, the V8 Supercar series.
